Online match sites are fine but don’t include the human element. Bars may not be the best place to meet someone with whom you may want to spend the rest of your life.

  Introducing …. Q2D (QueerQuickDates) Speed dating for the gay and lesbian communities!

Meeting people through speed dating is a unique alternative to bars and on-line sites. Participants “date” for five minutes. At the conclusion of each “date,” speed-daters complete a “match” sheet. At the sound of a bell, participants begin their next date! At the end of the event, “match” sheets are given to the event manager. Within 48 hours speed daters get an email with their “matches.” All this for only $20!

•   One event, several dates: There are never more than 20 women and 20 men per group.  This means you may have up to 19 dates in one night!

•   Age groups: Q2D Speed Dating provides opportunities for lesbians and gay men in various age categories: 21-35, 35-45, 45+, and some events are for all ages!

•    Regular monthly events:  Monthly Q2D speed-dating events are hosted at one of three Maria’s Italian Kitchen locations – Downtown Los Angeles, Encino, and West Los Angeles. See Events tab for venues, dates, and age groups.
