I was nervous wreck when I turned the corner at the Gay and Lesbian Center and saw all those beautiful women of every hue! My initial reaction was to turn and run!!!! I am so glad I stayed. I met and found a friendly connection with women I probably would have not pursued had it not been for Q2D. You're engaged in conversation for only 5 minutes! With those I connected with, the time flew! And I must admit...there were times I wanted to glance at my watch! ha! Overall it was an amazing experience and I would definitely do it again!!!! Years ago I attend 2 speed dating event @ Gay & Lesbian Center. I met a couple of peope nothing successful came out of it. So I'm glad there is a company that has restructure things, looking forwars it. Meet some mature, level headed, go getters!

I had SO much fun doing the speed dating!! And it really MAKES people come out of their shells and actually communicate in a very solid and committed way.

I want to thank you for bringing speed dating to the Gay Center in Long Beach. I didn't think I would like it at all. I was very pleasantly surprised. I loved it. It forced everyone to interact with each other for a few minutes. Generally gay men avoid talking to other gay men who they are not attracted to. This is based on a lot of factors, including age, looks, dress, etc. I found myself talking to people I would avoid talking to in a bar or mixer, probably because they were way too young for me. It was a great experience. I don't really care if I get a date or make a friend out of this. You really have come up with a great way to get gay men to interact with each other outside of a meat market environment. I would do this every week if that were possible. Thanks, again. EB

I'm sure with all of the people you've met to date you probably don't remember me but I was one of the guys that came to the initial Q2D event at the Italian restaurant in downtown L.A. and then been to a few events since that time.

Well I have to tell you that after going to several events I finally met this really nice guy at your Long Beach event a few months ago and we've been dating ever since! Not sure where there this is headed but I think he's a great guy and I'm so happy I met him! I never would have met him if it wasn't for Q2D so thanks!

An excellent alternative to online dating. You are responsible for going into the experience with an open mind and positive attitude - Q2D takes it from there. Never having done speed dating before, I did not know what to expect at Maria's Kitchen last night. I was pleasantly surprised, having had quite an enjoyable evening. The group of women I partook with was nice, unassuming and genuine. I recommend everyone give it a go - reasonably priced, professionally hosted by Regina who was very friendly, nice and attentive. Ideally a match would be great, however, I'm sure a friendship or two or three is sure to result. Thank you Q2D!

I'd been wanting to attend an event for some time, and finally made it to one this past weekend. It was a blast! The women were wonderful. It's a great place to meet a diverse group of women all at once. The owner Regina greets you in such a great way that you feel at ease from the minute you step in the door. Rather you're looking for love or for friendship, attending a speed dating is something that I would recommend.

I have now been to the downtown event twice and I am so happy I have found this and made new friends, in a great relaxed atmosphere. The event were very well organized, and the food is good too
